Post-doctoral Fellow in School of Public Health (Ref no.526548) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on temporary terms basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in research projects encompassing cohort studies, randomized controlled trial, as well as a novel study design, Mendelian randomization based on genome-wide association studies, large case-control and cohort studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, and a related discipline
• Competence in epidemiological data analysis of large datasets using R/STATA
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, and have good communication and collaboration abilities.
• A good publication record would be preferred

The appointment will commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
