Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer (Finance and Administration) in the Faculty of Arts (2 posts) (Ref.: 526693) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in tertiary education institutions.  They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong data analytical skills and a fair level of computer literacy. Preference will be given to applicants with proven experience of budgetary and financial management. They should be self-motivated, proficient in multi-tasking and be collegial and flexible and able to collaborate with different stakeholders. Those with less experience may be considered for the post of Executive Officer.

The appointee will assist the Dean in managing various functional areas, primarily in resource allocation, monitoring and controlling finance and budgets, space and project management, and any other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
